Our junior took on Oram at home in Pairc Eanna on a beautiful Sunday at lunch time. It was a tight encounter with both teams looking to secure a place in league semi final. At half time Oram were ahead by 5 points to 4. Killanny sharp shooter Peter Dooley converted every free that was earned. With scores from Eddie Markey – converted penalty by Stephen Mc Mahon – point to level the match by Michael Vernon with 5 minutes to go. However Oram racked up a goal and a point to run out winners by 4 points. We have two further opportunities to make the semi final place with away match to Emyvale & home to Blackhill.
