Alpha Lotto – Winning Letters for last Sunday nights lotto in the Skule Inn was N, T, S, X. There was no jackpot winner. The winners of the €20 lucky dips were Niall Sweeney, Mulladuff, Mary McCluskey, Drumully, Margaret Croarkin, Killykeeragh, Fionn & Riona Brady, Mulladuff, Canon John McCabe, Rosleaa, Margaret Fox, Rockcorry, Brendan Leonard, Lisgall . Next Sunday nights draw will be held in Bens Place.  The Jackpot will be €3,550. Thanks to all for your continued support to what is an essential club income. Team C is on lotto duty on Sunday 16th September.

Ladies FootballMinors: Training this Sunday 16th September at 11.30am. We played Aghabog last Tuesday and unfortunately lost out by a poin with a score of 2-11 to 2-10.Scorers were: Nicole Rooney(0-05), Daisy Monaghan(1-01), Megan McElvaney(1-01)and Ciara McMahon(0-03). Match next Tuesday at home to Inniskeen at 7pm.

Seniors – Are away to Drumhowan on Sunday next. Throw in time 12.30pm.

Under  14 – play at home to Aughnamullen this Saturday at 12 noon.

Under 16 – Qualified to play Corduff in the final of the championship, courtesy of a 6 point win away to Killeevan on Thursday night last.  The final is down for decision tonight, Thursday in Emyvale with a 7pm throw in. Nothing less than a team effort will be enough to overcome the challenge of a strong Corduff outfit.

Best Wishes – The best of luck to all our young club members who have started secondary school in the past couple of  weeks and also to all who have started primary school on the 3rd September. Best of luck to former player Declan Treanor now resident in London, who plays in the London Intermediate Championship final this weekend with his club North London Shamrocks.

Gala Ball – 2012 marks the 40th year since the formation of Eire Og GAA and to celebrate this significant milestone in the history of the club a gala ball has been booked for Sunday 28th October (Bank Holiday weekend) in the Four Seasons Hotel, Monaghan. The tickets for this special event are priced at €70 each.
