CREMARTIN CLUB NOTES 06.09.12
Shalotto
There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on Sunday 2nd September. Numbers Drawn were: 10-11-25-28. Lucky Dip Winners: Henry Brennan, Tasson, Kevin McKenna, Annyalla, Michaela Monaghan C/o Patsy Prunty, Annette McHugh and Genevieve McEneaney, Annagh. The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

Michael Burke
It is with great sadness we record of the death of Cremartin Gael Michael Burke. Michael was an esteemed former officer within the Cremartin Shamrock GAA Club and in his lifetime held positions of Secretary, Registrar and PRO. Michael carried out the roles with distinction, dedication and pride. During his term in office he was certainly well regarded not just in the club but at county level. Micheal was a fundamental key worker in the redevelopment of our social centre and facilities in the 1990s and worked tirelessly to ensure the project was completed on time. He will be sadly missed. We were defeated by Rockcorry last Friday night on a scoreline of Cremartin 0-11 Rockcorry 1-13. Team and scores: Damien Lavelle, Fergal Mulligan, Patrick McGuigan, Conor Mulligan, Kevin Atkinson, Declan Farrell, Shaun Buckley, Niall Flanagan (0-2), Jonathan McGuigan (0-1), Barry Carragher (0-1), Darren Bishop (0-5), Declan Mulligan, Christopher Farrell, Mark Magee (0-1) and Liam McVicar. Subs: Martin McNally, Eanna Atkinson (0-1) and Ryan McVicar.
RFL Cremartin v Doohamlet
We welcomed our neighbours to Doohamlet on Wednesday evening last resulting in a win for us on a scoreline of Cremartin 1-05 Doohamlet 0-7. Team and scores: Simon Atkinson, Shane Mulligan, Martin McNally, Kevin Atkinson, Eanna Atkinson, Colm Boyd (0-2), John Tomany, Cathal Atkinson, Liam McVicar, Paul McNally, Patrick McNally, Ryan McVicar, Barry Carragher (0-3), Michael Morgan (1-0) and Thomas Sherry. Paddy McVicar Memorial Golf Classic
The presentation of cheques to the Irish Heart Foundation and Cremartin GAA from the recent and very successful Paddy McVicar Memorial Golf Classic will take place this Saturday 8th September in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar at 10.00 p.m. Everyone is more than welcome to attend this special presentation for a very worthy cause.
