Under 16 Championship Final:  We took on Eire Óg in the Championship final,  Eire óg opened  the scoring after 6 minutes ,they went 2 ahead before  Corduff responded with a quick free from Mark Traynor to Daniel Mc Donald and Daniel slotted over the bar. Adrian Connolly then won a penalty for Corduff, Fergal Hanratty stepped up and buried the ball in the left hand corner leaving the score Corduff 1-1 to Eire Og 0-02.Eire Og responded with a goal before Killian Hand levelled the game with a point for Corduff before Eire Og went 2 points ahead. Adrian and Gavin Mc Enaney then combined to put a point in it, before Fergal Hanratty levelled the score. A free won by Matthew Connolly was quickly taken by Fergal Hanratty to Mark  who slotted the ball in the back of the net. Despite the best effort of Colm, Glen and Eamoon Eire og came back and the sides were level at half time. Eamoon and Gavin connected and Corduff opened the scoring for the second half, Daniel added another point for Corduff after a good save from Richard Sheridan. After an unlucky goal we went two points down before Eire Og added another point leaving the scoreline Corduff 2-06 to 2-09. Corduff Passion came through in the closing stages and these lads gave everything that they could. They showed the commitment and dedication that they had shown all year and were unlucky to concede a goal in the closing minute, final score was Corduff 3-09 to 3-12
