5K/ 10K FUN RUN

Our juvenile  committee have arranged a 5K/10k  fun run for this Saturday18th of August with the main emphasis been on the fun side. All our juveniles from U-12 to Minors are taking part with a prize for each category. For the more serious athletes there is the option of doing 2 laps of the course to make it a 10K.run.We hope to see all the parents of the kids there on the day with their trainers dusted down to take part. There will be a barbeque afterwards and music in the club lounge. So we hope to see a large turnout on Saturday  for a great evening’s craic. Registration starts at 4pm with the run commencing at 6pm. The entry fee is 10 euro and 3 euro for U-16s.

 

Championship:

Our adult team take on Donaghamoyne in the back door of the championship tomorrow night Friday in Drumhowan @ 7:30 pm. Having played Donaghmoyne on Sunday last in the Intermediate league we hope the result will not be a dress rehearsal for Friday night. All support would be greatly appreciated.

 

 

Cultural Night:

Our monthly traditional Irish Music session took place last Friday. This was another fantastic night, where newcomers continue to attend and are warmly welcomed. A huge thank you to all – our local talent, plus musicians from Scotstown, Clontibret, Clones, Corcaghan C.C.É. and Monaghan C.C.É. A terrific night was had by all.

 

So remember to keep the 2nd Friday free, next session takes place on Friday 14th September. We look forward to seeing you all there. Everyone welcome!
