The Gormley uPVC Senior Football Championship continues with two double-headers next weekend. First up, Páirc Grattan is the venue for Saturday’s matches, when Latton and Monaghan Harps clash in the back door, followed by the meeting of Castleblayney and Clontibret, when a semi-final place will be on offer for the winners. Clontibret hosts another double-bill on Sunday, with Carrickmacross and Scotstown putting their hopes on the line in a qualifier and Ballybay and Currin going head-to-head in the winners’ group. Both double-headers will see the first game throw in at 5.15pm, followed by the second match at 6.45.
The last two semi-final places in the McGuigan Builders Intermediate Football Championship will be up for grabs next weekend, starting with Friday’s clash of Donaghmoyne and Rockcorry in Emyvale under lights at 8pm. Cremartin will take on Inniskeen on Sunday at 1.45 in Aughnamullen.
