Doohamlet are now six points clear at the top of the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football League after their defeat of Corduff on Sunday, while second place is shared by Donaghmoyne, who won their local derby against Inniskeen, and Cremartin, who came from behind to salvage a draw at home to Seán McDermotts.
Drumhowan are now up to third in the Eurotech Junior Football League after they edged out Blackhill by the narrowest of margins on Saturday.

Truagh beat Monaghan Harps in the McElvaney Recycling Under-21 Football League Division One (North) on Sunday. In Division Two (North) on Monday, Ballybay were held to a draw by Finn Rua and Emyvale beat Tyholland, while Division Two (South) saw Killanny cruise to victory against Carrickmacross and Donaghmoyne concede to Magheracloone.
Truagh got a walkover from Toome in Friday’s Platinum Tanks Reserve Football League Division Four match.
