Ballybay bounced back from their mixed recent form to ease to victory over Magheracloone on Friday and maintain their place at the top of the Drumlin Group of Credit Unions Senior Football League. Castleblayney are now joint-second with Clontibret after they found the net three times on their way to a six-point win over the O’Neills, while Scotstown continued their return to form by digging out a third win in a week, away to Latton. Monaghan Harps are in mid-table after they had a five-point win away to Currin. The game between Truagh and Carrickmacross was abandoned in the wake of a serious leg injury to Truagh midfielder Barry Cuddy. All Monaghan Gaels wish Barry a full recovery.

Silver Hill Foods

Castleblayney and Inniskeen continue to set the pace in the Silver Hill Foods Senior Hurling League. Blayney beat Carrickmacross on Thursday to go level at the top of the table with Inniskeen, who proved too strong for Monaghan Harps on Monday. Elsewhere, Clontibret got the better of Truagh.
