Monaghan Referee Selected for International Duties‏

By michael Wed 18th Jul

Congratulations to Corduff and Monaghan referee Martin McNally who will travel to London this weekend to referee the inaugural All-British GAA Championships which will take place in Greenford, London. Martin has been selected by Croke Park to represent the Association at this prestigious event. This year promises to be an exciting year for Britain GAA as the new underage tournament gets off the ground this summer prior to the London Olympics. The tournament will feature underage teams from all across England and Scotland in U8-U18 competitions.

Former London GAA Chairman and newly appointed London Minor Board head Tommy Harrell is organizing the event and hopes that around 100 teams from all over Britain will attend. The tournament has come about as a direct result of the great development work being done all across the UK by the GAA.

Martin who has refereed at all levels within the county and also at inter-county level is looking forward to the trip and to representing his club and county on the international stage.
