Aughnamullen Summer Camp:. Aughnamullen had their first ever Summer Camp and it was a smashing success, due to this success was our community spirit when young and old came together as coaches and leaders to entertain our children. Every child was exhausted by the end of the week, with a bar-be-Que to finish it off. We want to thank everyone for their kind donations and the sponsoring of the food, drinks and goodies for the children. Thank you to the hard working committee members whom planned this camp with great detail and left nothing to the imagination for them camp to run smoothly. Thank you to Aughnamullen GFC for the use of our facilities, one of the finest in the County. Last but not least thank you to all the 120 children whom attended without you this camp could not have gone ahead and we hop to see you all again next year. The Sarsfield Stars training will be on again on Saturday morning at 10 am. Aughnamullen are hosting the UN 10’s and UN 8’s blitz tonight Thursday at half 7. All parental help needed to supply refreshments and help out etc. Also thanks to loughmourne school for the use of their equipment.

Congratulations to the UN 14 girls who entered into the Gloria Corrigan Blitz in Emyvale last week end, they done their club proud by reaching the Shield Competition Final, unfortunately lost out to Monaghan Harps.
