Two disappointing results for our Senior team in the last week.
Fixtures:
JFC: Aghabog v Clones on Saturday14th July at 8pm in Scotstown.
Coast2Coast4Cancer: This mammoth event will be finishing up at Aghabog Clubhouse at approximately 3pm this Sunday 15th. There are a number of local lads who have put a huge effort into this event and have been training for months so it would be nice to see a good crowd present to greet them when they arrive home to the Clubhouse. Any last minute donations would be greatly appreciated for what is a very worth cause.
Aghabog Festival: The festival will be held on the Weekend of 4th / 5th August. Keep free!
Sympathy:
The club would like to extend our sympathy to Oliver Keenan on the death of his wife Mary, mother of Trevor.
The club would also like to extend our sympathy to Paul and Fiona Gilliland on the death of Paul’s father.
Juveniles:
Under 8 & 10
We participated in a recent blitz in Tyholland & it is encouraging to see the progress being made by all the children.
Thanks to the coaches for their work & parents for your cooperation.
Our Under 10 team will be in Cloghan on Saturday for a blitz.
The next blitz for both groups is 26th July in Threemilehouse.
Under 12
Following our victory over a depleted Monaghan Harps B team we then overcame Castleblaney B in a keenly contested game.
Both teams deserve credit for an excellent performance in difficult conditions.
Our next game is away to Carrickmacross B.
Under 14
This team were victorious against Scotstown B & play Drumhowan away on Saturday.
Two of the panel Cameron OLeary & Tyler OHanlon are part of the Co Monaghan Under 14 Development Squad.
Sympathy
To the Cosgrove Family on the death of John’s Aunt, Mrs Carr, in Donegal.
