Seniors: We defeated Currin last week 2-16 to 1-4 to complete the first series of games. The next league game is not until July 6th. We begin the championship trail this weekend when we take on Monaghan Harps in the preliminary round at Emyvale. Throw in is 7pm in Emyvale. All support welcome.
Reserve B: We are due to play Castleblayney nect Tuesday 12th June in St. Mellans at 8pm.
Reserve C: Our next game is away to Emyvale on Friday 15th June.
Reserve D: Our next game is next Wednesday 13th June away to Clones at 8pm.
Minors: We resume the league on June 26th.

Cairde: Cairde jackets are now being distributed to all current members. Our club cairde is now in year 3 and remains an essential source of funding for the development of our facilities. New members are very welcome to join. Again, we thank all those who contribute to this scheme as they are assisting greatly in the progression of amenities utilised by young and old of the parish.

U14: The U14 A team defeated Emyvale last Saturday, 5-18 to 4-04. Players involved were Oran Mc Gee, Callum McKenna, Ciaran Rafferty, Francis Sherry, James McKenna, Colm McAnespie, Ryan Mohan, Gary McCaffery, Gary McKenna, Daniel Treanor, Jamie Sherlock, James Treanor and Aaron Mohan. The U14 B team defeated Clones in the Championship on Tuesday 4-20 to 7-05,and also in the League on Saturday. Players involved were Kieran McKenna, Finbar McGinn, Matthew McKenna, Shane McKenna, Cormac Mc Kenna, Gary Mohan, Killian Woods, Shane Woods, Dermot Boyle, Dara Cassidy, Karl McGee, Oisin Treanor, Jamie Treanor, Conor Maguire and Shane Sherlock. The U14 B team played the Championship semi-final on Tue 5th June. Should we reach the final it is scheduled for next Tuesday 12th June. The next league games for both teams are on Sat 16th June when the A team play Emyvale and the B team play Currin.

U-6, 8 & 10: Training every Thursday evening in St. Mellans from 7-8pm.
Hurling:
Seniors –We lost to Carrickmacross last week in the 1st round of the SFL. We play at home to Castleblayney tonight, Thursday at 8pm. We then start the championship next Tuesday with an away match to Clontibret at 8pm. The championship is being played on a league basis, with this our first round.
Camogie:
Juveniles: We are currently working on a new programme for our juvenile members. Details to follow shortly.
Seniors: Training is now on Sunday mornings at 11am. Attendance needs to improve. New players are welcome. Our next league game is away to Clontibret on the 26th of June.
Lucky Sqaure: Our lucky square is back in action and there is still a few numbers available so if anyone would like to take part please contact any member of the club.
Ladies Football:
Training:Training is now every Monday & Wednesday nights at 7.45pm sharp. New players are still very much welcome to come along.
Registration: Is now due to be paid and can be given to Pauline Treanor(Morris) at training. Please make it your priority to pay this asap
Liathroid Laimhe:
Club Presentation. As the remaining club competition was wrapped up this now allows us to go ahead with our annual club presentation night which will take place on the 23rd of June in St.Mellans, we hope to see all winners and runner-ups out and as many members for a bit of craic.
Feile Na Gael. The Feile na Gael team will soon be called into action, and the team of boys are James Mc Kenna, Gary Mc Kenna, Aaron Mohan, Ryan Mohan, Gary Mohan and Cormac Mc Kenna, so keep practising and keep in shape for the national competition.
Summer Play. As many club members as possible should avail of the free lighting in the alleys during some slightly summery evenings, remember parents get them in to the alleys during the wet evenings.
