Monaghan Electrical

Doohamlet moved four points clear at the top of the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football League thanks to a 1-11 to 0-10 win away to Inniskeen on Wednesday. Aughnamullen share second place with Donaghmoyne and Cremartin after their five-point win over Seán McDermotts, while Corduff continued their good recent form by cruising to victory at home to Toome.

Castleblayney are now level with Scotstown at the top of the Platinum Tanks Reserve Football League Division One following their win over Clontibret on Wednesday.

Gerrys-prepared-veg-300px

Magheracloone and Corduff will contest the Gerry’s Prepared Veg. Under-14 Football Championship Division Two Final after they saw off Killanny and Carrickmacross respectively on Tuesday. Toome and Latton beat Emerald Sarsfields and Killeevan respectively to qualify for the Division Four decider, while the Division Five title will be between Fergal O’Hanlons and Emyvale B, who got the better of Drumhowan and Aghabog. Truagh B and Rockcorry came through the Division Six semi-finals against Currin and Clontibret B, while Inniskeen defeated Cremartin to secure the last semi-final place in Division Three. Inniskeen were unable to follow that up by making the final, as they lost to Éire Óg, whose opponents in the final will be Aughnamullen, who got past Clones.

Silver Hill Foods

Inniskeen and Castleblayney both have two wins from two in the Silver Hill Foods Senior Hurling League after they had wins over Carrickmacross and Truagh respectively on Thursday, while Clontibret got off the mark with a hard-earned win away to Monaghan Harps.
