A well drilled and fully focused Blackhill side had 10 points to spare over our junior team in the opening round of the championship played in ideal conditions in a well appointed St. Victors pairc on Saturday evening last. In arrears by 4 points at the intervel we never really came to the pace of the game and the winners with their positive direct play saw them safely through to the next round. Team manager Jody and selector Alan have to pick up the pieces and prepare them for the back door route.
