Seniors:
Our next fixture will be the first round of the Senior Championship on Sunday 1st July in Clontibret against Scotstown at 6.15p.m. This will be followed by the Ballybay, Carrickmacross replay at 8.00pm.
Juvenile and Youth.
Under 14’s: Our U 14’s went down to a very good Truagh team in the League on Saturday last. There were excellent performances all over the pitch but special mention must go to Jason Mc Kiernan and Kevin Murphy who both played excellently as did Terry Mc Entee. Keep up the good work. Results, league positions and fixtures are all on the official Monaghan website.
Training: U-14 Training takes place every Thursday from 4.15pm to 5.30pm and training for all juveniles continues on Saturday mornings from 11.00am to 12.15pm. Your continued support for all juvenile games is appreciated.

Congratulations to Ellen and Laura and the Monaghan ladies team who had a big win over Tyrone in the first round of the Ulster Championship on Saturday in Ballybofey.
Ulster Championship
The Monaghan, Down Ulster semi-final goes ahead on Sunday in the Athletic grounds in Armagh. Lease note the earlier throw in time of 2.00pm with the minors a t 12.30pm. Best of luck to Dick and Stephen.

St Enda’s N.S Scotshouse: The Board of Management and the Parents Association from St Enda’s National School, Scotshouse would like to thank all who donated and sponsored prizes and to all those who attended our Fundraising Night in Connolly’s Lounge Bar, Scotshouse on Saturday 16th June. Special thanks to the band “Good Night Irene” – – – and also to the Monaghan Ladies Football Team who after their successful match that day, added to the craic. The total raised was €1883.86. We look forward to our next event. Thanks again.
Congratulations to Eddie and Denise Burns on the birth of their son Eamonn Hugh Burns on Friday 15th June. Mother and Baby are both well and returned home on Monday the 18th. Family and friends are delighted with the new arrival.

Cemetery Sunday: The annual blessing of the graves will take place on Sunday 9th September after 10.am Mass in Scotshouse and at 12noon in Corrinshingo. The Finance Committee has decided to have a Donation box at the gates to the cemetery on the day for anyone who would like to contribute towards the upkeep of the cemetery. You are welcome to give a donation if you wish.
Sponsored walk: Clones parish is arranging a sponsored walk on Saturday 30th June. This is a day ramble in the Cuilcagh Mountains, starting in Co Cavan and ending in Florencourt. Holiday Clubs: These clubs will run this summer for the fourth year! The previous three have been successful thanks to support from volunteer leaders and families. These holiday activities are part funded by the Church of Ireland Priorities Fund and a co-operation between the Aghadrumsee, Ematris and Clones groups of parishes. The Scotshouse ICA Guild hosted the Monaghan Federation Meeting on Monday 18th June. All ICA Guilds from the county were represented with a total attendance of 56 members. The meeting was held in the Scotshouse Community Centre and was chaired by our new President Patricia Cavanagh. The business was dealt with and then members were given a short talk by Greta McCarron on the “Digital Switch” for our televisions which will take place in October this year. Thanks to all those who attended and special thanks to Scotshouse members who helped in any way to make the evening a great success.
ICA Trip: The ICA trip to Titanic Belfast will be leaving Scotshouse at 8.30 am on Saturday 30th June. Please be on time as we have a specified entry time to the exhibition.
