Ballybay Seniors played Latton on Wed in Latton and got a deserving draw in a hard hitting game, and we played Maghercloone and lost our 1st game of the league, Next game is our preliminary round of the championship against Carrickmacross in Aughnamullen at 6pm. U12s:The u12s play Latton this Saturday ,9th June in the league. Throw up in Latton at 12.00. All players please assemble at Community College at 11am.Training tonight ,Thursday at 6.30pm.

U14s:Last Tuesday evening saw a thrilling encounter between Ballybay and Aughnamullen in the quarter final of the championship. Despite getting off to a good start with two quick goals from Shane Monaghan and Joe Cousley the team trailed each quarter from between 5 and 8 points until the last quarter when the lads fought hard scoring 1.06 in the space of 14mins. With a minute to go and Ballybay ahead by 2 points Aughnamullen scored their only score of the last quarter,a goal,winning by 1 point.Heart breaking for the Ballybay side who had battled so hard coming from 7 points down going into the last quarter.Hard luck lads, but well done on a thrilling performance !!Final score Ballybay 3.16 Aughnamullen 5.11.
Having dusted themselves off Ballybay were out again on Saturday against Inniskeen in the league. This was another fine display from the team, this time Ballybay stealing the last minute goal to win by a single point.Final score Ballybay 5.14 Inniskeen 1.25. Training Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm.
