Lotto Winner €2,400:  Congratulations to Prionsias McKenna-Corryarabeg, who won the lotto jackpot of €2,400. Prionias received his lotto winnings last Sunday evening. There was no winner of this week’s jackpot of €1,000. The lucky 4 numbers were 16, 19, 20, 22. There were match 4 match 3 winners, each receiving €50: Ciaran McCarron, Catherine Treanor, James McKernan (Yearly Ticket), Geraldine Treanor-Bracagh (YT). Sellers prize: Francis Treanor & Michael Treanor.  Next jackpot draw is worth €1200. Check team: Gary’s.

Seniors: Our next match is next Wednesday, 30th May, at home to Currin at 8pm.

Reserve B: We were due to play at home to Scotstown last night, Wednesday. We follow this with  a home match to Monaghan Harps this Saturday at 7pm.

Reserve C: We lost away to Inniskeen last Saturday. Our next game is on 15th June.

Reserve D: Our next game is away to Eire Og next Monday28th May at 8pm.

Minors: We lost to Donaghmoyne 1-7 to 2-12.  Our team and scorers were: Caolan McGee; James Deery, Mark McQuaid, Cian McKenna; Shane F Treanor, John McAnenly, Ryan Treanor; Paul McMeel, Niall Rooney (0-1); Aaron Treanor, Adam Treanor (0-6), Mattie Flood; Darren Sherlock, Paddy McMeel, Christopher McAnenly. Subs: Michael McCarron (1-0), Noel Flood & Shane A Treanor. This was our last minor game before the exam break. We resume the league on June 26.

Good Luck: to the Monaghan County senior and minor team who play Antrim this Sunday in Clones. Our sole representative is Adam Treanor who is part of the minor squad.

CPR/AED TRAINING: There will be a training day coming up in early July in St.Mellans . Anyone interested in doing this course please contact Eilish Treanor on 0877857680 or email treanor.eilish@gmail.com. More details later.

Cairde: Cairde jackets are now being distributed to all current members. Our club cairde is now in year 3 and remains an essential source of funding for the development of our facilities. New members are very welcome to join. Again, we thank all those who contribute to this scheme as they are assisting greatly in the progression of amenities utilised by young and old of the parish.

Club Shop: The club shop is open each Friday evening between 7-8pm. Sale rail with Hoodies, T-shirts, Water-Proof Track Bottoms, Rain Jackets and Padded Jackets. For that special occasion why not purchase a Gift Voucher. Many items to choose from.

U-16: We are at home to Castleblayney on the 24th May at 7pm.

U14: The a team had an enjoyable win over Scotstown on Saturday last,  3-10 to 2-06. Our team and scorers were: Oran McGee, Kalum McKenna, Ciaran Rafferty, Francis Sherry, James McKenna (0-2), Colm McAnespie, Ryan Mohan (2-1), Gary McCaffrey (0-1), Aaron Mohan (1-1), Gary McKenna (0-1), Daniel Treanor (0-2), James Treanor, Jamie Sherlock (0-2). Our b team was also successful with a win over Rockcorry on Saturday last, 10-15 to 5-12.  Team was Ciaran McKenna, Matthew McKenna, Finbarr McGinn, Shane McKenna, Gary Mohan, Cormac McKenna, Dermot Boyle, Killian Woods, Oisin Treanor, Dara Cassidy & Shane Sherlock. Well done to all players involved.  The U14b team play Clones in St Mellans, in the Championship on Tuesday 29th of May at 7pm. Players please assemble @ 6.15pm. All Support Welcome!

U-12: Leagues starting this weekend. Check with management.

U-6, 8 & 10: Training every Thursday evening in St. Mellans from 7-8pm. Our U-10s performed impressively in the recent blitz competitions. Our squad was: Cillian Sweeney, Oran Maguire, David McKenna, Emma Kelly, Eithne Boyle, Stephen Lavery, Cian Maguire, Mia O’Reilly, Rohan Boyle, Cian McGeough, Louis Kelly, Daryl Daly, Aaron McKenna, Evan Kenny, Fionn Sweeney, Doireann Kelly, Mark Cassidy, Colm Coyle & Aaron Cassidy.

 

Hurling:

Seniors –SHL starts on May 31st. Training Tuesday and Thursday.

 

Camogie:

 

Juveniles: We are currently working on a new programme for our juvenile members.  Details to follow shortly.

 

Seniors: Training is now on Sunday mornings at 11am.  Attendance needs to improve.  New players are welcome. Our next league game is away to Clontibret on the 26th of June.

 

Lucky Sqaure: Our lucky square is back in action and there is still a few numbers available so if anyone would like to take part please contact any member of the club. There was no winner of last weeks jackpot.  Thank you to all who support our lucky square.

Ladies Football:

Training:Training is now every Monday & Wednesday nights at 7.45pm sharp. New players are still very much welcome to come along.

 

Registration: Is now due to be paid and can be given to Pauline Treanor(Morris) at training. Please make it your priority to pay this asap

 

 

 

Liathroid Laimhe:

County Presentation. Remember keep free Friday evening the 1st of June as the county presentation will take place in the Harps Complex at 9:30pm sharp, all county adult winners of all grades must attend to receive their trophies.

Adult County Doubles Championships. Ian Treanor and Eamon Todd take on Sean Clerkin and John Mc Geough from Bawn in the Nov1 Doubles final in a possible date next week, still nothing in finalised yet but when it is texts will be sent out about time and venue if it is too early for the standard notes. NB must be played before 1st of June.

Masters Doubles Fixtures. Congratulations to Michael Mc Carron ant Michael Todd as they won the Emerald Master Doubles last Friday evening as they defeated James Fealy and Sean Brennan from Corduff, also Darrin O Reilly and John Kelly played Tydavnet opposition Tuesday evening past results next week.

Adult Club Championships. The last club competition of the year The Coalisland Doubles Final between Ian Treanor & Kevin Treanor and Barry Treanor & Christopher Mc Kenna(PJ) was played Tuesday evening past, this went the way of Barry and Christopher in a very tight affair 21-17, 21-18, it was Christopher’s more alley time that proved the difference as he killed on any chance given, well done all.

Club Presentation. As the remaining club competition was wrapped up this now allows us to go ahead with our annual club presentation night which will take place on the 23rd of June in St.Mellans, we hope to see all winners and runner-ups out and as many members for a bit of craic.

Community Games. The Community games team has been forwarded to represent Ulster in the national end of the competition now which will be played next weekend the 25th to the 27th of May, so all players and parents will be notified as to what the arrangements will be, there was a community games meeting Monday evening past for all managers so we had no details until after that which will left us little to plan things, but we hope this did not cause too much hassle for players or parents.

Feile Na Gael. The Feile na Gael team will soon be called into action, and the team of boys are James Mc Kenna, Gary Mc Kenna, Aaron Mohan, Ryan Mohan, Gary Mohan and Cormac Mc Kenna, so keep practising and keep in shape for the national competition.

Summer Play. As many club members as possible should avail of the free lighting in the alleys during some slightly summery evenings, remember parents get them in to the alleys during the wet evenings.
