HARPS HANDBALL

Congratulations to Ramunas who was on the winning team in the Paddy Grogan Invitational Tournament in Tyrone at the weekend.
The top Irish players from various grades were invited to take part over two days in this prestigious Memorial tournament.  Ramunas contributed to his team’s winning scores although he was second best in his individual encounters with the likes of Johnny Woods and Evan Sheridan.  However with Clare’s Colin Crehan leading the team, Ramunas was assured of a great overall team performance.
12 HOUR MATATHON
Our fundraising 12-hour marathon begins at 9.30am on Saturday.  There will be spotprizes and lots of refreshments throughout the day.  If last year’s marathon is any indication our adult players will find it difficult to get into the courts given the enthusiasm of a large number of our young players.  We intend to use both indoor courts as well as the outdoor one-wall areas.  Players can come at any time during the day.
Community Games,

Curraghboy, County Roscommon is the venue for our Under-13 team in the Community Games National Finals.  It is an early start for the team on Saturday, May 26th at 9am.  Our team consists of Ryan Mooney, Justas Dambinskas, Caileán Myles, Jakub Szkup, Konrad Kowal and Conor Myles.  All of the above are in superb form and eagerly await the competition.
 Feile Na Gail.
We have entered the Feile tournament which takes place in Dublin in early July.  While this is a competition for players Under-14 years we have a very young team and expectations are to gain valuable playing experience for the future. In addition we have players entering various One-wall competitions in the coming weeks.
