Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 10th May
Don’t go Away: If you are already planning on what you are going to do for the June Bank Holiday then Don’t Go Away! Emyvale GAA are in deep discussions regarding their plans for a Festival of Fun for the June Bank Holiday Weekend.
There will be something to suit everyone, even if you just want to have a laugh at some of the familiar faces in our Parish! Enough said for the moment!
We will have more details closer to the time. In the meantime, plan to stay at home for the June Bank Holiday weekend. You won’t regret it!
U14 Championship Final: Emyvale lost the U14 Championship Final on Sunday evening to a strong Scotstown team, However it’s a great achievement for the lads and management team for getting to the final.
Congratulations: To Marion Donnelly who was yet again appointed to the National Financial Management Committee for another term.
Minors: Our Minors played Sean’s last Tuesday evening at home. The put in a very dominate performance winning handsomely. Final score was Seans 2-06 V Emyvale 4-16. This week they played on Tuesday night against Cremartin, Report to follow next week. The next Minor fixture is: MFL Div. 2 Tuesday 15th May 7.45pm Rock Sarsfields V Emyvale
Volunteer for Club Shop: The club are currently looking for a Volunteer who would be interested in working in our club shop.
Sky TV / Emyvale GAA Offer: The Sky retail store in the Monaghan Shopping Centre is running an offer for new customers wanting to sign up who are connected to the club. The offer consists of a €50 All4One shopping voucher in addition to any sign up offer which Sky has. The club receives €30 for each customer who signs up which is being used to buy gear and equipment for our teams. Make sure to keep this in mind if you are considering signing up to Sky and to mention it to friends or family.
Annual lotto: The Club would like to thank all those who continued to support the Club’s annual lotto for the past year. Promoters will be out selling tickets again for the upcoming year in the next couple of weeks. Your support for this would be greatly appreciated.
