Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 3rd May

Get Well Soon: Best wishes and quick recovery to Sean Mc Meal who sustained a broken jaw in our game against Aghabog last week.

Don’t go Away: If you are already planning on what you are going to do for the June Bank Holiday then Don’t Go Away! Emyvale GAA  are in deep discussions regarding their plans for a Festival of Fun for the June Bank Holiday Weekend.

There will be something to suit everyone, even if you just want to have a laugh at some of the familiar faces in our Parish! Enough said for the moment!

We will have more details closer to the time. In the meantime, plan to stay at home for the June Bank Holiday weekend. You won’t regret it!

 

Minors: Our Minors played Truagh last Tuesday evening at home. They played very well and deserved their win against their local rivals in what was a very entertaining game. Final score was Emyvale 3-14 Truagh 2-13. This week they played on Tuesday night against Seans, Report to follow next week. JFL: Emyvale 1-13 V Oram 1-07

Our senior team played their Fourth of the league last weekend. They played well and had enough to beat a good Oram team.

JFL: Aghabog 1-03 V Emyvale 1-05

Our senior team played their Third game of the league last Wednesday night and secured another win in what proved to be a tight game in very difficult conditions.

Crawley Cup: Truagh 2-06 V Emyvale (B) 1-10 

Our B team played our opening Crawley cup fixture against Truagh in St. Mellon’s on Friday night last and come away with a solid victory in a competitive game.

Sky TV / Emyvale GAA Offer: The Sky retail store in the Monaghan Shopping Centre is running an offer for new customers wanting to sign up who are connected to the club. Annual lotto: The Club would like to thank all those who continued to support the Club’s annual lotto for the past year. Promoters will be out selling tickets again for the upcoming year in the next couple of weeks. Your support for this would be greatly appreciated.

U14 Championship Final: All roads lead to ST MELLANS TRUAGH this Saturday the 5th May as Emyvale take on Scotstown in the DIV 1 Championship Final at 12.00pm. This is a great achievement for the boys and your support on the day would be greatly appreciated. It could make all the difference.

Annual Quiz: A big thank you to all who supported our Juvenile Quiz last week. It was a great success and will be a huge benefit to all the juveniles throughout the year.
