Doohamlet GFC Notes

Seniors:   Our Senior team had two fixtures in the last week and our good league form continued with two wins over Toome and Sean McDermotts.  On Wednesday evening last we made the short journey to Toome and after a feisty start by the locals Doohamlet raised their game in the second half and ran out 1-10 to 1-07 winners.

On Saturday last Sean McDermotts were visitors to O’Neill Park and had no answer to a Doohamlet side who powered their way to a 2-14 to 0-10 victory.  Greg Duffy was our star man at midfield and Niall J. Connolly showed his eye for a score with an impressive tally of 2-02.

Next fixtures coming up for our Seniors will tell management just where this team is at with two difficult games away to Tyholland on Friday 11^th May and then we have Donaghmoyne as visitors to O’Neill Park on Sunday 13^th May.  Throwin @ 4pm

Reserves:  Our Reserves are in Championship action this Friday when we entertain Monaghan Harps.  Throwin 7.15pm

U16’s:  Our U16 team played very well last Thursday evening even though they lost 2-15 to 2-12.  Next fixture for U16’s  Thursday 10^th May v Scotstown @ home.
