CREMARTIN CLUB NOTES 24.05.12

Shalotto

There was no winner of the Shalotto held in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday 20th May. Numbers Drawn were: 1-6-18-20.  Lucky Dip Winners: J&E McNally, Annyalla, Ryan Branigan, Lorraine Brady, Clarderry, Rose Boyd, Lisnagrieve and Roisin Lavelle, Dunfelimy.  The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in the Social Club on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

We were defeated by Killevan on Wednesday 16th May last on a scoreline of Cremartin 2-08 Killevan 0-17.  Team and scores: Simon Atkinson, Declan Mulligan, Liam Atkinson, John Tomany, Shane Mulligan, Ryan Carragher, Martin McNally, Barry Carragher (0-2), Paul McNally, James Leonard, Liam McVicar (1-1), Patrick McNally (0-2), Thomas Sherry, Michael Morgan (0-2), Ryan McVicar (0-1).  Subs Philip Markey and Andrew Atkinson(1-0).

 

Fixtures:

Seniors: We are at home against Tyholland on Friday 1st June next at 8.00 p.m.

Reserves: We are away against Doohamlet tomorrow night Friday 25th May at 7.45 p.m.

U-16s: We are away against Aughnamullen this evening, Thursday 24th May, at 7.00 p.m.

U-14s: We are away against Inniskeen on Tuesday 29th May next at 7.00 p.m.

Congratulations: to Our Lady’s Secondary School boys football team who won the Ulster final/Treanor Cup this week.  There were four Cremartin players on the team: Aidan Kerr, Barry Kerr, Eanna Malone and John Leonard.  Well done boys!!

Rose of Tralee – Regional Finals 3rd June 2012

Cremartin’s Caoimhe Flanagan will be representing Monaghan in the Regional Finals of the Rose of Tralee in Portlaoise on Sunday 3rd June next.  There will be Supporter’s bus leaving Cremartin Club on Sunday 3rd June at 2.00 p.m. and returning on Monday.  If anyone is interested in booking a seat on the bus please contact Michael McGuigan on 086 8169275 as soon as possible as this will be subject to the definite numbers.
