Monaghan Rose 2012 – Caoimhe Flanagan
Congratulations to our very own Cremartin Rose Caoimhe Flanagan who was crowned Monaghan Rose 2012 last Sunday night in the Glencarn Hotel.  Caoimhe wowed the Judges on the night with a beautiful rendition of an irish song and also impressed the Judges during interviews held prior to the proceedings on stage.  Cremartin was very well represented on the night with local ladies Eimear Mulligan and Lisa Mulligan also taking part.  All three Cremartins girls impressed and looked stunning and did themselves, their families and the Club very proud!  Caoimhe now goes on to represent Monaghan in the regional qualifiers in Portlaoise ahead of the Rose of Tralee.  Best of luck Caoimhe, we will be behind you all the way!!!

The Monaghan Roses would like to thank all those who came out to support them on Friday 20th April last with their fundraising drive in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.  The pin selling in Monaghan Shopping Centre and the Zumba class in Cremartin Hall raised over €600 on the day.  Thank you to Charlene for taking the Zumba class and to all those who took part.  A huge thank you to those who sponsored prizes at the Zumba Class, Acorn Life, Chic Colour and Cuts Monaghan, GR8 Entertainment Castleblayney and the Jolley Gift Store Castleblayney.
