Lotto – The lucky winner of €500 was Marie Tavey in last Friday night’s first MONTHLY draw. There was no Jackpot winner for the lotto draw last Monday night, the 07th May, the four lucky dips winners of €50 each were Jane McKenna c/o Cozy, Gerard Malone, Carrickaslane, Siobhan Connor, Drumconrath and Paul Boyd, England. The lucky numbers were 14, 16, 27, 28. Next week’s draw will take place in Corrigans on Monday 14th May.
Mayday Parade – The club had a large and colourful display in Mondays Mayday parade in the town. It was great to see so much green and gold on show; it’s just a pity the weather didn’t co-operate a little bit more. Well done to Louisa and her team for all the effort they put in.
Seniors – The seniors have 2 games this weekend, first up on Friday night we travel to Monaghan for a game against Harps with a 7.30PM throw-in and on Sunday we play Carrickmacross in Toome at 4PM. These are the last senior games before the county team play in the Ulster Championship.
Junior B – The Bs overcame Clontibret 3-09 to 0-16 after an entertaining O’Duffy match on Friday night last.
Junior C – The Cs were in Championship action last night (Wednesday), result and report next week.
Winter Training Programme – The programme continues this Thursday night. U6s are in Rath na nÓg (6PM-6.50PM), U8s on the Astro-Turf (6PM-7PM) and U10 on out in the field (7PM-8PM). Gaelic 4 Girls – training continues at the secondary school gym and on the Astro-Turf from 7-8pm on Thursday night. The scheme is aimed at girls of 8 years of age and above. For more details contact Darren McQuillan on 086-3844055.
Minors – The minors are at home to Scotstown next Tuesday night at 7.30PM
U16 – The U16s play Toome tonight at Concra with a 7PM throw-in.
U14 – A gallant U14 team battled hard before they went down to defeat against Carrickmacross last Saturday.
U12 – Both our U12 teams are in action at finals day in Cloghan this Saturday with the action getting underway at 11AM. Please come along and support these stars of the future.
