Seniors – The seniors played Scotstown last evening (Wednesday), result and report next week.
Junior B – The B’s continued their recent hot streak with a high scoring 4-18 to 1-11 victory over Latton last Wednesday evening. It was a game we dominated from start to finish with fine point taking from all the forwards and an impressive performance at full forward from P McBennett who contributed an individual total of 2-3 the highlight. Tomorrow night (Friday) we face Scotstown in the O’Duffy Cup semi-final at Toome with all support welcome. Next Wednesday night we travel to Clontibret for an 8PM throw-in
Junior C – Blayney and Emyvale played out a very entertaining and high scoring draw on Saturday last in Toome. Despite fielding a weakened team, the players on show showed great spirit and determination and but for a last minute goal by the visitors, they would have taken the full points. Second half goals from David McMahon and Ciaran McGinn ensured that the team built up a lead as the half wore on until the late goal resulted in a drawn game. The C’s return to action this Saturday when they travel to Aughnamullen with a 4pm throw in.
