Camogie News

County Team

Training continues in Cloghan on Sunday at 3.30pm. A full turnout is expected in preparation for the 2nd round of the Ulster Junior Championship which is against Armagh on May 19th.

League Fixture

Tonight Thursday 10th May

Inniskeen

 

Inniskeen Camogie were among forty eight Camogie clubs who took part in Camán to Croker event on last Saturday May 5th.

This was an incredible experience for the girls to play in Croke Park, an iconic venue for all Gaelic games supporters and players.

The Red and Green of Inniskeen served up some great Camogie on the day and this will serve well for the future of Camogie in the parish.

3 games were played and the girls won 2, They played against Drumgoon of Cavan, Crandoagh of Donegal and Western Gaels of Sligo.

A special word of thanks to Maria Gartlan-Ward, Pauline Jones,  Michelle and Kathy Deery who travelled with team on Saturday.

Underage Camogie

Training resumes every Wednesday.  Louth Blitzs for U8, U10 and U12 are commencing soon. Parents will be notified by text.

Senior Team

Senior Registration Fees are now due.

The Senior Team played their  first game in the Louth League on Wednesday last against Collon and emerged worthy winners in a very fine performance that seen some great scoring . They now play St Kevin’s in their second game May 9th.

Truagh

Juveniles

We are currently working on a new programme for our juvenile members.  Details to follow shortly.

Seniors
Training on Tuesday and Friday at 8pm in St Mellans.  Could everyone please make the effort to attend, if you cannot attend please text the camogie phone.  We would like to encourage as many new members as possible to come along. Basic training will be provided.

League

Our next league game is away to Clontibret on the 26th of June

 

Lucky Square

Our lucky square is back in action and there is still a few numbers available so if anyone would like to take part please contact any member of the club. Congratulations to Ciaran Mc Carron winner of last weeks jackpot.  Thank you to all who support our lucky square.
