Draw for Sods for the Pitch: As part of the fundraising initiative ‘Sods for the Pitch’ which took place a few years ago the club undertook to have prizes of €10,000. It has taken a few years to get into a position to do this and we sincerely apologise for the delay. We are finally now in a position to honour this commitment and are holding the first draw on Sunday 3rd June at the Social Centre.
Each name that appears on the Sods for the Pitch board will be entered in the draw and each prize is for €250. There will be eight prizes on Sunday 3rd June and further monthly draws will be organised until the total prize fund is met. In the interest of spreading the prizes amongst as many of those who kindly participated in the initiative, once a name is drawn as a winner it will not be entered in future rounds.
So everyone is welcome in the Social Centre on 3rd June and if you have any queries at all please contact our treasurer, Tony Ward, on             086 8553925      .

The parish of Doohamlet and surrounding parishs where shocked and saddened to hear of Lily Finnegans sudden death. Our thoughts and Prayers are with both the Meegan and Finnegan families at this sad and difficult time. May Sarah Meegan and Lily Finnegan rest in peace and may God have mercy on their souls.
