Monaghan will renew their rivalry with Cork in the Bord Gáis Energy Ladies National Football League Division One Final at Parnell Park in Dublin on Saturday, May 12. Monaghan set up a rematch of last year’s All-Ireland decider thanks to a 2-9 to 0-7 win over Dublin in their semi-final on Sunday. Gregory McGonigle’s side never looked back after racing into a 0-7 to 0-1 lead and goals by Caoimhe Mohan and Cathriona McConnell (from a penalty), as well as a penalty-save by goalkeeper Linda Martin, secured their eighth win from nine games in this year’s league.
