Alpha Lotto – Winning Letters for last Sunday nights lotto in the Skule Inn was C,B,J,QThere was no Jackpot winner. The winners of the €20 lucky dips were Noelle McGorman,Enniscorthy, Jim & Bridget Connolly, Mullabrack, Majella Bannon, Maple Grove, Tom Woods, Alan & Sandra McGorman, The Meadows, Brigid & Hugh Morrow, Kilcorn, Hughes Precast Products Middletown. Next Sunday nights draw will be held in Bens Place with the Jackpot standing at €3,550. Monies raised from Alpha Lotto are essential to funding the running costs of the club and the effort of all our patrons& sellers is greatly appreciated, without you we wouldn’t be able to progress the club forward and build towards the future by improving facilities etc. Team B is on lotto duty on Sunday 15TH April.

 

Spring Clothes Collection– The club is organising a used/old clothes, shoes (in pairs only), handbags & accessories collection for this Saturday 14th April from 10am till 4pm. We ask you to support us and spread the word to friends, relatives and neighbours.Items can be dropped to the club grounds between these times or we can organise to have them collected for you.Please note pillows & duvets cannot be accepted.

Cardiac Screening Day: The Healthy Hearts Healthy Lives heart screening clinic will visit the club on Saturday 12th May 2012. This service will be available to everyone in the community aged between 14 and 35.  Please note that anyone under 16 years of age must have parental/guardian consent. Each person being screened is required to complete a questionnaire and the cost to be screened is €45 per person. Anyone interested in being screened, or parents / guardians who wish to have their child screened should contact Margaret Tierney on 047 57021 after 6pm to book

Committee Meeting – The next Committee Meeting will take place on Saturday next 14th February at 7.30pm in the Club Meeting Rooms. All committee members are asked to attend

Under 6,8 & 10 Coaching Mornings – continues every Sunday morning at 11.15am. There is an excellent turnout every week, keep it up. Both boys and girls over 5 years of age are very welcome.

Under 12- The U-12s have a bye this weekend. Please check with team mgt for training times. Next game in the Spring Football League is on Saturday 28th April with a home game against Clones. Throw in is down for 12noon.

Under 14 -The U-14 league will commence on Saturday 21st April when we play host to Inniskeen in Smithboro. Please check with team mgt on training times.

Under 16 –The U-16 commence their league campaign this evening Thursday 12th April in Smithboro against Corduff at 7pm. Best of luck to the team and management for the year ahead.

Under 18 – Commenced their competitive season on Tuesday night last with an away game to Cuchulains Sarsfields in Aughnamullen. Please see results elsewhere. Next game is against St Patricks in Smithboro on Tuesday next 17th April at 7.15pm..

Reserves – The reserve team were comprehensively beaten by a strong Blackhill team on Saturday evening last on a scoreline of Eire Og 1-6 Blackhill 2-12. Next outing is on Wednesday  18th April with an away game against Killanny Throw in time is fixed for 7.15pm.

Seniors – The seniors are away to neighbours Aghabog this Sunday 15th April. Start time is 4pm.

Ladies Football – U12 & U14 – training continues on Tuesday evenings from 6pm till 7.30pm in the main pitch. U-14’s played Aughnamullen in the second game of the league on Monday night last – final result was a victory to Aughnamullen. Next game is on Monday 16th April when they play Sean McDermotts.
