Reserve League

Clontibret 1-9, Latton 1-10. We were unfortunate to come away with a one point defeat in the end of this tie. After being behind for most of the game, we levelled it twice in the closing stages only to concede a point in the dying minutes. Team and scorers: Arthur Morgan, Darren Murphy, Padraig McGuigan, Fergal McGuigan, Eoin McGuigan, Donal Carragher, Kieran Greenan, Fergal Greenan, Daithi McKeown, Ronan Murphy, Rodney Gorman 0-1, Johnny McKenna 0-5, Fergal O’Dowd, Shane Hughes 1-0, Ryan McGuigan 0-3.

We have a home tie against Scotstown this Saturday at 6.30pm.

 

Senior League

We play Carrick at home next Wednesday at 7pm in the first match of the senior league, followed by an away game against Ballybay on the following Sunday, 15th April.

 

Minor League

Clontibret 1-9, ‘Blayney 1-15. Our first game of the year ended up with a defeat despite a spirited performance from an understrength team.  We played Killanny on Tuesday gone by. Next up is a home game against Carrick next Tuesday at 7pm.

 

U14 League

Clontibret 5-6, Donaghamoyne 5-10. We ended with a four-point defeat against Donaghmoyne in a high scoring game. Our next outing will be in the championship against the winners of Emyvale and the Harps on 17th April.

 

U12 League

Our u12s got the year off to a winning start with a good victory against neighbours Doohamlet. Our next game is on Saturday, 14th April at home to Latton at 12pm.

 

Easter Camp

A 3-Day Easter Camp will take place in Ballybay, Scotstown & Donaghmoyne, on 10th, 11th &12th April from 10:30am to 2:30pm. The cost is €40 for the first child and €35 for additional children from the same family. Targeting boys & girls aged 5 to 10 (if older children want to attend please contact Paul O’Connor). Hurling

Reserve league Clontibret 0-12 Truagh 0-9.

Clontibret got off to a winning start in the Res.league with a hard fought victory over Truagh with late points from Kevin Duffy (2)and Fergal O Dowd sealing the result. Training Mon night at 8.

Best of luck to Raymond Mc Nally, Shane Mooney, Michael P O’Dowd, Christopher Leonard, Kevin Duffy, Liam Savage, Aodh Curran, Cillian McDonald and the county minors in the Ulster division 2 final in Omagh this Sunday at 12.30.

U -14 v Castleblayney away Mon 9th 7.00pm.

Senior Res. League v Carrick away Thurs 12th.
