Sympathies: the club extends its deepest sympathies to the Walsh of Coolskeagh on the death of Patsy. Ar Dhies De go raibh a anam dilish.

The Toome GAA club was by the death of the Late Patsy Walsh, RIP Coolskeagh, Castleblayney.  The late Patsy was hon President of the club and he has been a key member in all aspects of the clubs development for many years.  Patsy supported by his wife Rose, son Patrick and daughter Siobhan have played a major part in the development of the football team and the purchase and development of the new St Victors Park.  He was a founder member of the then Field Committee in 1981 and along with the other members of the committee they travelled far and wide selling raffle tickets in order to raise funds for the development.  Patsy was a member of the Toome Dramatic group at an earlier time and was always willing and able to help when called upon.  The entire Toome area will miss his friendly smile and his keen interest in the welfare of everyone in the area.  Sincere sympathy is passed to Rose, Patrick and Siobhan.
