Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 22nd March

Registration: Please note this is the final weekend for Club registration. This Friday night membership (€20) can be paid to Anthony or Alice Mc Carron who will be at the juvenile information night which starts at 8.00pm in the clubrooms. Membership will also be able to be paid after mass this weekend.

Scor: Our talented Scor team travelled to Stradone, Cavan to participate in the Ulster Semi Final on Saturday 3rd March. The competition from rival counties Cavan and Armagh was very stiff and Monaghan was to only take two of the sections, those being Ballad Group and Set Dancing. There were mixed emotions for the Emyvale contingent as both our Ballad Group and Set Dance teams progressed to the Ulster Final but it was disappointing for the Ceili team and the Novelty Act crew who both narrowly missed out. The club wishes the very best of luck to the singers and dancers who will make the long trip to Derry City on 24th March for the Ulster Final. We know that you will represent club and county well in all you do. Our thanks to all those who have participated and represented our club so well, and again to Gerard Mc Quaid for his support.

Annual lotto: The Club would like to thank all those who continued to support the Club’s annual lotto for the past year. Promoters will be out selling tickets again for the upcoming year in the next couple of weeks. Your support for this would be greatly appreciated.
