Shalotto
There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on Sunday 4th March.  Numbers Drawn were: 1-7-9-26.  Lucky Dip Winners: Una McElroy, Annyalla, Leah McElroy, C/o Una McElroy, Annyalla, Kieran Kerr, Annagh, Oisin Branigan, Lismagunshion and Eamon Kelly, Drumquill.  The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next.  You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

Membership
In compliance with direction from Croke Park Cremartin Shamrocks GFC requests membership fees are paid by 31st of March 2012. We are kindly requesting that all new and existing club members acknowledge this deadline. It is imperative that all football players update their membership before the beginning of the season. Fees are Adults – €30, Juveniles – €15, Students – €15 and for a family (family = two adults and any children under 18) – €60.
Following a motion passed at the Convention 2012 – Please note that no tickets will be ordered for non members for any games this year so it of the upmost importance that membership is paid in time.

Reserves:
It ended all level in our first game of the season last Sunday afternoon on a scoreline of Cremartin 2-06 Drumhowan 1-09.  Team and scores: Simon Atkinson, Eanna Atkinson, Martin McNally, Gerry Brennan, Liam Atkinson, John Tomany, Kevin Atkinson, Barry Carragher (0-4), Cathal Atkinson, Liam McVicar (0-1), Paul McNally, Mark Magee, James Leonard (1-0), Andrew Atkinson (1-1) and Ryan Carragher.  Subs: Fergal Flanagan for Gerry Brennan, Gregory Flanagan for Andrew Atkinson and Ciaran Carragher for Ryan Carragher.
Fixtures: Our next game is away to Carrickmacross on Sunday 18th March at 2.00 p.m.

Tá Rith ag teacht.
Cremartin is taking part in Rith 2012. This is a national festival taking place in Ireland in conjunction with Seachtain na Gaeilge. Rith is taking place from the 8th to the 17th of March. A baton carrying a secret message in Irish from our President Michael D Higgins is being carried throughout the country. Starting in Gaoth Dobhair, Co. Donegaland finishing on the Aran Islands on St. Patrick’s Day. Cremartin have been given the opportunity to help carry this baton when it comes to Monaghan this Saturday 10th March. If you would like to take part in this event then please be at the Courthouse in Castleblayney at 5pm on Saturday where we will walk/jog/run together carrying the baton for part of its journey. Annyalla N.S. presents “April Fools Mock Wedding”.

Crime Prevention Awareness Events: The following events are free and open to the Public so feel free to go along:  On Thursday the 8th March, 2012 at 8.30pm an information night featuring guest speakers will be held in relation to Crime Prevention in the Glencarn Hotel.  Also on Saturday 10th March 2012 from 12pm to 5pm a Security Exhibition will be held at Castleblayney Enterprise Centre, Dublin Rd between the hours of 12pm to 5pm where local security providers will be on hand to demonstrate various security products and services available.

Gym Equipment
The Club is looking for anyone who has spare gym equipment to donate or sell.  Contact Club Chairperson Brendan McNally on 0876886282 for more details.

Club Gear
Orders are now being taken for our new Cremartin Coat.  Some sizes in stock at present.  Anyone interested in any Club Gear please contact Anne Branigan on 086 3169102.

Astro Turf Pitch
