Farney GAA for All for people with a Learning/I​ntellectua​l disability on Sat 3rd March in St Macartans 10:30pm to 12:30pm

The Monaghan Coaching & Games Development Committee are working hard to make our games inclusive to all. Over the years a number of initiatives have been arranged for children, youths & adults with various disabilities. These have proved to be a great success, with very positive feedback from both parents & participants. Continuing with the work that our coaching staff have undertaken to date we are planning to deliver a Farney GAA for All day for 5 to 12 year olds.
 
I would therefore request that you cordially extend this invitation to children from your Community/school/club to participate in the Farney GAA for All for people with a Learning/Intellectual disability. This event will take place on

Our aim is to provide a variety of suitable sports and activities for children / youths (5 – 18 years) with a disability.  As well as enjoying the physical benefits of sport, participants will also have the benefit of peer interaction. To ensure the day is successful we would also welcome siblings of the participants attending the event.
 
 
Light refreshments will accompany the presentation of certificates by Monaghan County players.  If there are children from your club/community or school who would be interested in participating in this event,  please contact Paul O Connor  or Ann McKenna on the details below.
