Alpha Lotto – Winning Letters for last Sunday nights lotto in the Skule Inn was W,Y,H, A.
There was no Jackpot winner. The winners of the €20 lucky dips were Enda McCluskey, Kilygormley, Tony Lambe Annaghmartin, Aidan McMahon, Drumbear Wood, Sean Murphy, Threemilehouse, Paddy McAree, Mullaglasson, Geraldine Toal, Annaghmartin, Margaret Tierney, Lisgall. Next Sunday’s draw will be held in Bens Place with the Jackpot standing at €2,650. Monies raised from Alpha Lotto are essential to funding the running costs of the club and the effort of all our patrons & sellers is greatly appreciated, without you we wouldn’t be able to progress the club forward and build towards the future by improving facilities etc. Team D is on lotto duty on Sunday 4th March.
Poker Classic – The club’s annual poker classic will take place in the Skule Inn on Friday, March 16th. Proceedings will get underway at 8pm.Tickets are priced at €30 and are available from any club member. There is guaranteed prize money of a 40% pay out on the night, we would expect to match, if not exceed, last year’s prize fund. Buy backs and top ups will again be in operation. There will be refreshments served on the night. Your support would be greatly appreciated and come along for a great night.
Youth Team Affairs –Eire Og boy’s u-14 team will play their first match of the 2012 season this Saturday morning starting at 11am in Smithboro. All players are asked to be in the dressing rooms for 10.30am. Team mentors are Raymond Leonard, Matthew McQuaid & Marc McBride. We would encourage as many parents as possible to attend and lend their support to the team

Sympathy – The club would like to extend its sympathy to the Hamill family, Stonebridge on the death of Eamon Hamill Clones, father of current Juvenile Chairman Mike Hamill. May he rest in peace.
The club was shocked at the news of the sudden and untimely death of Mark Brady, Kellykespin. Mark played underage football with Eire Og, winning numerous Monaghan underage titles, amongst them the Magill Cup (U12)1992, Bracken Cup (U14) 1992, McCormack Cup (U16) 1994 & 1996 & Minor League 1998. In more recent times Mark was an underage coach within the club. The sympathy of everyone associated with the club is extended to the Brady Family.
Best Wishes – The Club would like to wish Ollie Treanor a speedy recovery following his recent injury.
