Alpha Lotto – Winning Letters for last Sunday nights lotto in the Skule Inn was C,B,S,X.
There was no Jackpot winner. Next Sunday’s draw will be held in Bens Place with the Jackpot standing at €2,350. Monies raised from Alpha Lotto are essential to funding the running costs of the club and the effort of all our patrons & sellers is greatly appreciated, without you we wouldn’t be able to progress the club forward and build towards the future by improving facilities etc. Team B is on lotto duty on Sunday 19th February
Defibrillator Training Course:On Sunday & Monday last 20 participants undertook a very intensive and highly informative defilibrator training course. A word of appreciation to the facilitators; Clones Civil Defence personnel Martina & Patricia, they presented the information and delivered instruction in a very professional manner. The cost of training was met by some of the proceeds of a community collection carried out when the defibrillator was initially purchased. A special word of thanks to Margaret Tierney for her valuable assistance in organising this successful training. Finally a big thank you to all participants for taking the time to complete this course and recognise the benefits to the individual and the community of having this valuable certification. Best Wishes – The Club would like to wish Gerard Treanor every success in his new appointment as joint manager of Monaghan Ladies U16 team for 2012.
Ladies Football – Well done to all girls from the club’s U14 team that attended county u14 trials on Saturday last and best of luck to all girls attending the county ladies u16 trials on Saturday 18th February at Ballybay GAA grounds.
Coaching – There is a foundation award coaching course and child protection course taking place tomorrow night & Saturday (17th & 18th Feb) in Cloghan, anyone interested in taking part is asked to contact Jonathan McMahon on 087 9027413. There is also a Level 1 course taking place for more experienced coaches on the 2nd/3rd & 9th/10th March, places are limited so must be booked early, if interested please contact Jonathan McMahon.
Kangaroo Boxing – Anyone who still has any outstanding ticket money should return it to Enda Doran or Daragh McCluskey as soon as possible.
Sympathy – The club would like to extend its sympathy to the Murtagh family, Skervan on the death of Tommy Moen, Keady, brother of Monica Murtagh
