Alpha Lotto – There was no winner of last week’s Jackpot in the Skule Inn worth €1,900. The winning letters on the night were N,H,O,V. The winners of the €20 lucky dips were Dermot Connolly, Mulladuff, Abbey McGorman, The Meadows, Clare McGorman, Coolatty, Breda Tierney, Smithboro, Hughes Family, Kilcreen, Patrick & Eoghan Croarkin, Killykeeragh, Padraig & Brendan c/0 Skule Inn. Congratulations to all. Next Sunday’s draw will be held in Bens Place at 11pm, with the Jackpot worth €2,050. Once again, thank you for your support of our weekly lotto. White Collar Boxing Kangaroo Style – A big thank you to the huge crowd that turned up to support our ‘white collar boxers’ over the weekend. The event was a resounding success and much credit to everyone involved for making it a great night. Many
thanks to all sponsors who were very generous to the fight night namely – Michael Flynn of Flynn’s Fine Foods, Gussie McGorman of McGorman Windows, Monaghan Leisure Centre, Harte Peat, An Poc Fada, Cavan Plumbing Supplies, Scanlan Transport, P & R Advanced Power Solutions, JR Distributors, Generator Hire. The music was supplied by Ollie & Daniel from PRO DJ who kept the party atmosphere going into the early hours. To our photographer friend Ross Sweetak for his great work on the night. Thanks to Colin Walker for MC on the night, the panel of judges Enda, Mickey & Ray and to the Skule Inn for hosting the event. Finally well done and thanks to all the fighters who displayed great enthusiasm, energy and effort in providing great entertainment to the 350 plus audience.

Defibrillator Training Course: Sunday February 12th and Monday February 13th are the dates for the defibrillator training course. The training is being delivered by members of the Clones Civil Defence at their centre. All participants have been notified of which date to attend, and the starting times.
Cardiac Screening – Another reminder that any club member 0r non member between the ages of fourteen and thirty five wishing to be screened for Cardiac risk should contact Margaret Tierney on 047 57021 as soon as possible.

Monaghan U14 Football Development Squad Trials – U14 Development Squad trials for 2012 take place this Saturday morning 4th February from 9:30am till 11am in Cloghan. All players who were born after the 1st January 1998 and before the 31st December 1998 are eligible for these trials. Best of luck to all players who will be representing the club.
