Membership – The club can confirm that membership rates for 2012 will remain unchanged. The price is €20 and can be paid to Ciaran Leonard. We would encourage existing club members to renew their subscriptions as soon as possible and we would sincerely welcome any newcomers wishing to join. All Senior players are reminded that monies must be paid before the commencement of the 2012 season. Any player who fails to pay the membership fees will not be considered for selection and similarly the club will decline to cover any medical expenses incurred in the event of an injury being sustained.

White Collar Boxing Kangaroo Style – There’ll be blood, sweat and tears in Smithboro on Saturday January 28^th when Eire Og GAA Presents White Collar Boxing Kangaroo Style with “Kangaroos” from all over the county competing along with many local celebs. The Skule Inn will play host to what promises to be an excellent night’s entertainment with pro DJ playing as well after the main event itself – 10 bouts of boxing. Doors for the fundraiser will open at 8.30pm and the first bout will get underway at 9.00pm. Tickets are priced at €10 and can be purchased from any club member or on the night itself.   Details of pairings will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Club Gym – is available to all members of the club to use. Keys of the gym can be obtained from any of the following – Ciaran Leonard 087 6296425, Brendan McMahon 086 2606994, or Seamus Treanor 086 3268788.

Committee Meeting will take place on Monday next 9^th January at 8.30pm sharp in the Club Meeting Room. All committee members are requested to attend.

Alpha Lotto – The Alpha Lotto Draw took place in The Skule Inn on Sunday night last. The winning letters were P,B,H,J. There was no winner of the Lotto.  The weekly winner of €60 was Margaret Croakin Killykeeragh. Winners of the €20 luck dip were Paul & Angela Mc Elroy Aughnacloy, Martina Mc Cluskey Drumully, Patrick Croakin  Killykeeragh,  Sinead Morgan  Annyalla, Niall Cosgrove Roslea, Micheala Mohan Magherarney, Bernard Kelly Roslea. Sellers Prize of €20 went to Patrick Croakin. Jackpot now stands at €1,450. The next draw will be on Sunday 8^th January in Bens Place.

Championship Draw – The draw for the 2012 Junior Championship draw has placed Eire Og in the first round where we will meet near neighbours Aghabog.

40^th Anniversary– 2012 will mark the 40th anniversary of Eire Og Na Mullai – if you have any ideas on how to mark the occasion or would like to make a suggestion please contact any committee member.
