County Senior Championships. We will be having a guaranteed 5 club members in county final action this year in Nov4 Frank Mc Kenna takes on club man Gabriel Mc Aree, in Nov3 Kevin Treanor takes on Patrick Mc Kenna in an all club semi-final, in Nov1 Eamon Todd has made the final, and in Junior Christpoher Mc Kenna(PJ) has also made it to the final, well done everyone and the best of luck, all finals TBC but keep an eye on county notes and when we are notified we will also publish and text.

Ulster Championships.  We have also a guaranteed Ulster Finalist in were Eamon Todd and Christopher Mc Kenna have both made the Junior B Singles semi-final the only problem being they now face each other to see who reaches the final, text will be sent out when the time of the semi will be on, should be a good one!. But when these boys has this bout settled then they team up in the doubles also in an Ulster Semi-Final the Junior B Doubles, this to be played on the 10th of February time to be confirmed, well done boys. Hard luck to John Treanor(T) who lost the quarter final in a  tight 3 match game in the Golden Master B Singles.

U11 Blitz. An U11 Blitz will take place this Sunday the 5th of February in St.Mellans all boys and girls under 11 welcome, all who turn up on the day will get a game but all who want to play must be there @ 10:30am Sunday morning.

Club Championships. All the club senior singles and doubles fixtures are up and running now with both single and doubles being run off at the same time hoping to keep all the games more interesting and compact, as there are a lot fixtures being running off in a short space of time it is vital all games are played as per fixture date as not to create a back-log, we would ask if the winner of each game would write their name into the next round so everyone can keep up to date with the fixtures.

Ulster Championships. There is still plenty of action on both courts in St.Mellans with top players in Ireland in action, see fixtures at the back of the glass alley for details, be careful booking the alleys around this fixtures.

Juveniles Doubles. A list of the juvenile doubles that have been entered into the county championship is on the notice board at St.Mellans get practising as this will be run off on February the 19th venues and times to follow.

Club Juvenile Leagues. The club juvenile leagues are up and running now, the coaches can adjust rules to suit each leagues’ level of play, also we ask all coaches to enter in all points on the both score sheets at each alley and mark of the games also on the sheets as they have been played

Mono Team League. I must apologise for making a mistake on the report of last weeks Mono League final as it was Stephen Callery who was on the winning team even though he lost his game he secured the points needed to win the title and to the rest of the  winning team of Gary Todd, Barry Todd, Patrick Mc Kenna, Kevin Treanor and Stephen Callery.
