Lotto . The numbers drawn in the Lotto for the week ending 12th December were 2, 5, 15 and 24. The Jackpot was not won. The following four players collected fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip draw…Aoibhe Freeman, Magheracloone, The Johnston Family, Stradone, P. Breslin, Barleyhill and K. McCaul.

In the special Christmas Draw four players won fifty euro each. The lucky winners were Anna Jones, Tonnaneave, Catherine O’Brien, Lauren Brady, Kellystown and Ollie Malone, Meath hill.

 

The next draw will be held on the 19th December in the clubrooms. This will be the last draw before Christmas and the last chance to claim the jackpot in 2011.

The chairman and executive would like to thank all the Lotto players for their support during the difficult year that was 2011.

He wishes all the Lotto subscribers a Happy Christmas and good health for 2012.

JobBridge Vacancies.  Monaghan County Board have three positions to fill under the new JobBridge Scheme. The Board are seeking a Games Development Administrative Assistant, a Coaching and Games Sports Therapy Practitioner and a Primary School Coach.

If any club member is interested in any of the above positions they are invited to contact the club secretary for further information.

 

 

Senior AGM The AGM of the senior club took place last Friday evening. Many members turned out to discuss 2011 and to chart a path for the New Year.

The election of officers saw the majority of office holders return for 2012 and the treasurer’s report provoked some lively discussion, as in previous years.

A long discussion followed on a motion regarding the appointment of a managerial team for the senior panel. The motion was passed on a show of hands and the club will now seek to put a three person team in place for the coming season.

In concluding the meeting, the chairperson extended Christmas greetings to the club members and the Lotto subscribers.

 

 

Mass for Deceased Members. The annual Mass for deceased members and their families will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Upper Magheracloone on Friday 30th December at 7.00 p.m.

 

Monaghan Yearbook. The official Monaghan Yearbook was launched at the County Convention on Thursday last. It is now available from the club secretary and in local bookshops. It would make an ideal Christmas present for somebody in Magheracloone or for those who have made their homes in other lands.
