Minors: Subsequent to our county minor championship win, we play in the Ulster club championship preliminary round this Saturday in St. Pauls, Belfast at 1.30pm. Our opposition on the day is Derry side, Glen Watty Grahams.
Club Shop: The club shop is now open each Friday evening between 7-8pm. Ideal gifts for Christmas for all ages.
Christmas Party Night: is being held on Sat 17th Dec. Dinner served with Christmas draw, and dancing to late with ‘Rico’s Groove’. Booking early is essential, as limited seating is available and places are already filling fast. For booking contact 0861991150.
New Years Eve Party: Ring in the new year amongst family and friends in St Mellans. Food served and dancing to late to music by ‘Renegade’.
AGM: is to be held on Friday 16th December. Nomination forms are being sent out to members this week.
Camogie:
Juveniles: There will be no juvenile training until further notice.
Seniors: Our senior panel is looking a bit depleted for 2012. If anyone is interested in joining our team please contact the camogie phone on 086 3073200. Its a great way to keep fit and to socialise with others. We would love to have you on board.
Ladies Football:
Well done: Congrats & Well Done to our minor team & management who beat Donaghmoyne in the final of this competition on Sunday last in Aughnamullen. These girls now progress to represent Monaghan in an Ulster competition beginning on Sunday 11th December.
Handball:
County Championships Training. The Juvenile County Championships are on this weekend the 4th of December, there has a few change of venues and all are as follows U12 & U13’s are in St.Mellans, the U14’s are in Bawn, the U15’s are in The Harps Complex and the U16 & U17’s are in Scostown Complex also the U13 & U15 Girls are also in Scostown Complex, all games start of at 10:30am, finals the following weekend in St.Mellans, good luck to all taking part.
GAA League. The GAA league are now up and running Kevin is the captain of the A team and Frank is the captain of the B Team Good luck all in the competition.
Mono Team League. Due to yet another competition The GAA league having to be block booked into the alleys it is vital all Mono League games are played as per fixtures and not be taking up alley time that other players may want to play in for extra practise or just for fun, captains insure your players play on the night and on time.
Juveniles. All coaching is still on going as per normal for all juveniles even for the players in the county championships but we ask the young players to book the alley in their own times and get more practise in the more you put in the more you will get out.
Membership. Hopefully all membership has been be paid to Frank now if not please do asap, and coaches ask all juvenile on your coloured team if they have paid or not and when they pay make sure to write their name in on the sheets in the cabinet under their year of birth and give all monies to Frank.
Shop. Balls senior and juvenile are both 7 Euros, goggles available at 10 Euros, jerseys also in stock in the shop, the shop will be open Friday evenings 7-8pm or see Cormac during the week.
