The following four players collected fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip draw…Olive Farrell, Leons,  Justin O’Rourke, c/o O’Rourke’s Shop,  Niamh Finnegan, Shercock Road, Carrickmacross and Anthony Carroll, c/o The Porter House, Kingscourt.

In the Lotto draw for the week ending 7th November the numbers drawn were 1, 12, 22 and 25. The jackpot was not won and will roll over to next week. The four players who won fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip were Owen Gilsenan, Magheracloone, Gerry Crosby, Meath Hill, Henry Babington, Killygally and Sandra Finnegan, c/o Murtaghs.

Lotto Jackpot. The executive of the club, at a recent meeting, decided to “cap” the Lotto Jackpot at 8,500 euro. Therefore the Lotto will remain at this level until it is won. However, the amount that would have been added on weekly up to now has been set aside and ring fenced and will be added to the new Jackpot when the present big prize is won. This will ensure that when the present jackpot is won, the new Jackpot will start at a higher level than before.

Dates for your Diary. Juvenile AGM The juvenile secretary informs me that the AGM for 2011 will be held in the Community Centre on Thursday November 17th at 8.30 pm. All parents of young footballers are invited to attend. The meeting will review progress in 2011 and will plan for 2012. Your attendance will be an encouragement to those juvenile mentors who work with the young people and it gives you a chance to shape the progress of the juvenile club for the year ahead.

Senior AGM The AGM of the senior club has been fixed for Friday December 9th. The paid up members of the club will be informed officially in the coming days and each will receive nomination forms for 2012. Members are encouraged to fill in these forms and return them to the Secretary by the due date.

Poker Classic. The club Poker Classic has proved to be a very successful fundraiser over the past number of years and it is hoped to run this event again in the near future. Keep an eye out for further information in the next few weeks.
