Hurling:

Seniors: The end of the year has come for our seniors following a defeat in the senior league final to a sharper Blayney side. It has really been a year of highs and lows for the team. With the lads claiming their first championship win and also reaching the reserve and senior league finals, the year could be looked upon as a success but unfortunately the silverware has eluded them. However, with continued dedication and commitment this is sure to change. The boys would like to thank their manager for all his hard work throughout the year and to the club in general for its continued support.

Under 13s: Floodlit league continues on Thursday evening in Cloghan. Bus leaving Mellans at 6.30 sharp.

Handball:

Also there is a €5 charge from the county board for all adult’s for each county competition entered into. Only fees that are paid will determine what each player is entered into. No pay no play under all circumstances.

Juveniles, We are going to start the juveniles over the next few weeks having sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:30pm for an hour just until we get all the registration in and we know who is going to play so we can break them up into teams as per what we done last year so it is important all come as quickly as possible as to get the team system up and running, registration is 5 Euros for the year.
