Gala Banquet:

Finishing touches are being put to the gala banquet on Sunday night next. This promises to be an enjoyable night in celebration of our club and community. Ticket sales have been very good with numbers over the 400 mark. To help in the organisation of the night it will be strictly admission by ticket only.  Each ticket will have a stub and people are advised to fill in the bearer of the ticket for a draw on the night. There will be a champagne reception @7:00 pm. The meal will be served sharp @7:45 pm. This night is strictly for enjoyment purposes and speeches will be kept to a minimum. Robert Brown & co is expected to take to the stage shortly after ten and from there to the end there will be music to suit all ages. This event is not a black tie event so your Sunday best should suffice. Hope to see you all there in good time.

Jubilee Year:

Any person who may have old photos or video archive from club activities over the last 50 years are, and who think it is worthy of inclusion in our Jubilee DVD are asked to contact Ciaran Mc Entee or Gerry Lynch. Footage from the Gala Banquet will be included in the DVD, which will be available in early December.

 

Cultural Night:

Our next session will take place on the 4th November, one week earlier than our usual 2nd Friday slot. We look forward to seeing you all there. Everyone welcome!

Scór Spraoi:

Both St. Michael’s & St. Mary’s National Schools are representing our club in Scór Sproai this Friday, 28th October @ 7.30pm in Tullycorbet. All support on the night would be greatly appreciated.

Corcaghan Comhaltas:

Corcaghan Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann will hold AGM on November 2^nd @ 8pm in Corcaghan Hall. All welcome.

AGM:

Our club AGM is provisionally penciled in for Friday 2^nd December 2011 @9:00pm. It is recommended that it takes place before the annual county convention which is scheduled for Thursday 8^th December.

 

Bowls:

Bowls every Thursday night in complex at 8.30pm. New members of all ages welcome. Coaching and Bowls will be provided.
