Preparations Continue for Red or Black Fundraiser
Preparations are now at an advanced stage for the Killeevan Sarsfields GAA Club latest fundraising venture. Friday 4th November will see a packed house in the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan for their Red or Black fundraising event. Based on the hit TV gameshow, one lucky member of the audience will have the opportunity of spinning the wheel for the €5,000 top prize. Similar to the TV show, every member of the audience will participate in the game, with half the audience eliminated after each round, until only one is left to spin the wheel.
The event has been generously sponsored by Clones Credit Union, and we are delighted that they have seen fit to continue their support to us. ‘The support of Clones Credit Union for this event has allowed us to offer a night of entertainment of the very highest standard’ stated Cathaoirleach an chlub Darren Greenan. He also thanked a number of local businesses have also sponsored our eliminator games and ‘we are delighted to have them on board as well’.
The eliminator events are where all the fun will be, so come along in the night and see some of our local politicians, characters and personalities get themselves into, and out of some tricky situations !!! Some of the people already lined up to participate on the night are Pat Treanor, Donal Sherry, Seamus Coyle, Ciara McPhillips, Heather Humphreys, neighbouring chairmen Jimmy McGeough and Tony McGorman, a couple of teachers from Killeevan National School, some well know referees as well as Monaghan stars Dick Clerkin and Amanda Casey.
Tickets are still available from any club member and can be bought on the night. The event gets underway with Doors at 8pm and first eliminator at 8.30 sharp.
