Mr. & Mrs.: With our poker classic done and dusted, the countdown is now on to our next fundraiser, which is a ‘Mr. and Mrs.’ Night. This will take place in the clubhouse on Saturday, November 12 and preparations are well underway for what promises to be an enjoyable night.
Street League: This competition is soon to start for Under-13 players from within the club.
Sponsored walk: Club gear ordered through the recent sponsored walk can be collected from the complex this Saturday morning between 10.30 and 11.30.
Votes of sympathy: At last Thursday’s club meeting, votes of sympathy were passed to the families of Tom Cuddy, Gerry Brennan and Jean Sherry (nee Smyth). May they rest in peace.
AGM: Our Annual General Meeting has been fixed for Sunday, November 27 at 3pm. Nomination forms will be sent out shortly.
SHL Final: Thanks once again to Brian Harvey for having the pitch ready and in good condition for the Senior Hurling League Final last Saturday. This looks likely to be the last official fixture at Gavan Duffy Park this year, so thanks to everyone who helped look after the pitch, especially Brian, Nigel and the ground-development committee.
Scór: We will be competing in Scór competition in the coming weeks.
