JobBridge Vacancies

Monaghan County Board have been approved for 3 places on the GAA JobBridge Internship Scheme. The placements are in the following categories;

1. Games Development Administrative Assistant

2. Coaching and Games Sports Therapy Practitioner

3. Primary School Coach

Interested candidates should follow the instructions below in order to comply the application and qualification process.

These categories of internship share a similar advertising and application process. This is essentially a four-stage process. Applicants must first visit JobBridge.ie and locate an internship on a regional basis. Secondly, applicants must take note of the designated contact identified on the JobBridge advertisement. Thirdly, applicants must log on to GAA.ie and download a standard application form. Finally, applicants must send the completed application form by post or by email to the designated contact identified on the JobBridge advertisement.

 

Applicants must ensure that they meet the Social Welfare conditions for the scheme. If they are unsure they should contact their Social Welfare Office or explorer the eligibility link on the JobBridge website.

 

Advertising and Application procedure

 

Advertising

Advertisements will be placed on or after 16 November 2011.

All GAA internships will be advertised on JobBridge.ie and also on GAA.ie. The advertisement of the internships will be overseen by the National Coordinator in conjunction with the GAA Provincial Games Managers and the National Call Centre. Internships will be advertised on a regional i.e. county-by-county basis on the JobBridge website.

 

Application

The deadline for applications will be the 9 December 2011.

The JobBridge advertisement will also contain a url for GAA.ie. Applicants will be required to download a standard application form on GAA.ie and submit it via email or post to the designated contact for the particular internship as identified on the JobBridge advertisement. Applications in any format other than the standardised application form will not be accepted.

 

Interviews

Interviews will be held between the 12 and 16 December 2011.

 

Placement

Successful applicants will be expected to start work the week commencing 9 January 2012.
