Doohamlet GFC Notes

U15: Doohamlet U15’s took part in an All County Blitz on Friday evening last under lights in Cloghan.  With victories over Cremartin and Latton in the group stages Doohamlet qualified for a semi-final place against Emyvale.  This was a close affair but Doohamlet again showed their qualities and made the final.  This was against fellow parishioners Clontibret who were fancied as favourites for this competition but again our lads stepped up their game in the second half and were worthy winners in the end.

Great credit to this group of lads who have come through our underage system together winning many titles along the way and hopefully they can continue improving in the coming years and we hope to see them develop to the senior squad.

Juvenile Club League: Two exciting games played last week, Donegal beat Tyrone 4-06 to 3-05.  Monaghan recovered from a 12 point deficit to beat Armagh in a high scoring game 13-14 to 13-07.  The action continues on Wednesday of this week with two further rounds to be played.
