Monaghan will play Antrim at home in the first round of the Ulster Senior and Minor Football Championships in 2012 after the draws were made on Thursday night. The winners of that game will play either Down or Fermanagh in the provincial semi-finals. Monaghan haven’t played Antrim in either championship since 1990, when the seniors won convincingly and the minors lost by two points.
Details of fixtures will be announced at a later date.

Meanwhile, the draw was also made for the 2012 Cadbury’s Ulster Under-21 Football Championship recently, with Monaghan being handed an away game against Derry on Wednesday, March 21, with the winners going through to a semi-final clash with Armagh or Cavan.
