SCOR.

The new Scor season is just around the corner and already the Scor Committee has plans in place for the upcoming events. The Scor season begins with Spraoi Scor which is confined to primary school children although organised on a club basis and clubs should be liaising with their local primary school to give the children an opportunity to take part. That is followed by Scor an nOg later in November. At their most recent meeting the Scor committee outlined the dates and possible venues for both of these events and there is also a very important meeting coming up on Wednesday, September 28th to which all club Cultural Officers and club chairpersons have been invited. The purpose of the meeting is to try and increase participation in Scor at all levels as this is part of the County Committee’s Strategic Development Plan. That meeting takes place in Cloghan on Wednesday September 28th starting at 8 p.m. and it is hoped that there will be a good response.  All clubs will be circulated with notice of the meeting.
